Hello class! I chose TechCrunch and Mashable for this assignment. I started reading GigaOm but that got a little too tech geeky for my taste! But so far I really like the material the bloggers write about in each of these blogs. They write a lot of interesting articles in them. Hope you guys enjoy this assignment as much as I am.

Wow Gina I really like your blog. It's colorful by both it's words and appearance. I completely agree that the Hispanic folks have a tendency to shop together. As a matter of fact I don't think it's just when it comes to shopping, they like to do a whole lot of things together. I live in Tennessee and I lived in Texas for a while. I've met many Hispanic people and I've noticed that they're very social and a family likes to practice all sorts of activities together, even doing the laundry which some people might find it funny but I think it's actually beautiful because it's showing the bonds in between families and it makes such a boring experience as doing laundry much more fun!
ReplyDeleteOn another note, you would still be surprised what the internet has to offer. My dad used to tell me that one day people will be able to shop and work and do all kinds of stuff from their home by their computer, to me as a child living in the 20th century this seems like a form of science fiction. But today it's reality, and it's going more and more advanced on everyday. I like that!
I like your blog as well. You seem to have a way with words. I enjoyed doing this assignment as well. I RSS to your blog and I look forward to reading what else you provide to us.
